Rear Shock

Postby Deano » 03 Jan 2012, 19:26

Hi, looking for advice, looks like the rear shock on my 2000 (W) Sprint ST has given up. Oil poured out of it the other day and it's gone all soggy. Is there anyone that repairs/replaces them who is recommended locally? Any advice gratefully received thanks.

If you want second-hand try Sandy at Triumph'ant Motorcycles.

Anther option might be a Hagon, sub 300 quid for a new one.

Mick gardners does quality work, last time i took a rear one in to be re-built it cost me £100, but you have to remove the shock yourself otherwise it will cost you more folding if you take the bike in for him to remove & refit. He's also always pulled out with work so may have to wait a bit.
Calm down dear, it's only a forum.
