if you don't like the truth then get rid of it  nowhere in the article does it speak of lies :naughty: it's just that they don't want us to know what happens in Afghanistan .....did the solders have all the equipment that they needed and are the Afghan troops really trained well enough to do the job?

John, what do you expect?

It's a long established fact that the first casualty of war is the truth.

Remember Sadams WMDs?

Theres a change in a newsreaders job too. At one time the newsreader interviewed two people with different opinions and let them argue the point but today the newsreader joins in making it two against one while voicing the governments line....I've just watched a woman do it on sky news. One man for a war in Libya who she gave freedom of speech to say what he wanted the other who was against the war where she butted in 4 times asking "what about the women and children being murdered?" and not letting the man make his point.

This is a new way of doing news where we are making our own minds up but with a little bit of big brothers help

This country is a big arms manufacturer and so loves wars. We'll be in there soon don't you worry, the economy needs it.

I've never had sky because I think Murdoch has far too much influence with the establishment. And he's a tw*t.
