i really wanted to go to libya but, for obvious reasons, i dont think it wise. this time im gonna try something a little closer to home so ive bashed out a little trip to see some touristy passes from top gear (yeah,cheezy i know, but they do look good and are easily reached with no visas needed)

i will be doing the san bernardino pass, stelvio and the Transfagarasan Highway i reckon it`ll be about 4,000 miles round trip

im going in august, hopefully on my honda blackbird so will be on tarmac only.

a warning though, im no 5* hotel biker. i wing it and prebook nothing. its the only way to be truely free with no pressure

If I can get the time off, Im coming with you. But that looks like more than a weeks trip and I can only get a week off max.
Oh and by the way...Im on a Gixer 1000.
Let me try and have a scrap with the wife just in time so shes not talking to me and Im there

Yeah I was looking at it taking about week and half but i reckon I could squeeze it to a week, It would just mean bigger daily milages and less downtime. setting off Sunday evening and coming back the next Sunday night/Monday morning ?

Get er to fly out and meet ya. Call it a romantic getaway if your pushed for time you could just come to stelvio and make your own way home ? This would be easily done in about 5 days.
