I don't know about that place but took a rideout today to The Rest and be thankful in Swinton Jim and Ronni were the very very friendly and even help sort out a problem I've been having with an old bike.
great place Large portion sizes free refill on the tea just a shame he does'nt ride that 03 Kwak in the window anymore.
Will defo be going again with mates can't wait for the garden to be finished a real biker cafe to stop at well worth a visit and the avoid motorways typed into the tw*t Nav gaves us some great roads to boot.

Darryls Cafe on the A591 at Windermere in the Lake District, would like to apologise, & say SORRY to one of your members for serving a shoddy Breakfast. We are on a lot of Biker websites as we take pride in our cooking & enjoy meeting & cooking for lots of Bikers, our Cafe's a great Biker meeting place, & because our food is good & cheap, but alas on this occasion didn't come up to scratch.I don't like upsetting anyone, especially folk from Yorkshire, being a Yorkshireman mysen! "Why didn'st tha saa summat at the time, appen we coulda sorted it like!!"
We have just had some more Sheffield & Yorkshire Bikers in , who told us of this posting, & who nearly didn't come in because of it. But they said " It was a Great Breakfast, a real stonker of a Breakfast, a proper job !!
Our Big Biker Breakfast contains 2½ rashers of Back Bacon, & 2 Eggs, & 2 Pork Sausages, & Baked Beans, & Fried Bread, & a Couple of Toast with marmalade, and chips if wanted ! I realise that just occasionally this isn't enough, as must be the case here!
So as a way of saying sorry, for upsetting one of your members, besides giving our usual discount to all Bikers, we would like to offer all Sheffield & Yorkshire Bikers, a FREE 2nd brew & FREE extra toast, with the Breakfast, IF you're still hungry! Please let us know who you are to get this offer, when you order.
And to "Pitrat" & a companion , I will personally cook 2 Big Biker Special Breakfasts FREE of Charge!
I can't say fairer than that!
Darryls Cafe is open everyday ( closed on Tuesday & Wednesday only), from 8am till 6pm, though we do open earlier on request if you want an early Brekkie before the roads get busy! Please phone first, 015394 42894, if you do want an early Breakfast, or if there is a BIG group of Bikers coming, then I will make sure I have more Bacon in, & more staff in!!! And I will even take a photo of your Bikes & put them on our Bikers Wall of Fame, so that next time you come you can see them , or laugh at them!
GET STUFFED AT DARRYLS!!! SAFE & HAPPY RIDING!!! :thumb:
